1941 Ex-Army Truck Chassis & Cab

At EPC Coatings, we recently had the privilege of contributing to the restoration of a 1941 ex-military truck. The owner is undertaking a comprehensive restoration, aiming to return this classic to its former glory.

Our Process

1. Sandblasting: We began by meticulously sandblasting the chassis and cab to remove decades of accumulated paint, rust, and grime. This process revealed the raw metal, providing a clean slate for restoration.
2. Priming: Following the sandblasting, we applied a high-quality primer to the surfaces. This step is crucial to prevent corrosion and to ensure optimal adhesion of the final coating.
3. Protexture Black Finish: To complete the process, we applied a Protexture Black Flat finish. This durable, mar and scuff-resistant textured coating not only enhances the truck's appearance but also offers long-lasting protection.
