Second-Hand Bull Bar Restored

The Project

A customer brought in a second-hand bull bar that had seen better days. It had all the marks of wear — surface rust, faded paint, and years of tough use. But underneath, it was still solid and structurally sound. Our job was to bring it back to life and make it look better than ever.

Our Process

1. Blast Cleaning – We started with a full sandblast to remove the old coating, surface rust, and any contaminants. This step is key to achieving a strong bond between the metal and the new coating.

2. Surface Prep – After blasting, we ensured the surface was clean, dry, and perfectly profiled to accept the new finish.

3. Coating Application – We applied our durable ProTexture Black coating, a tough textured finish ideal for off-road gear. It offers long-term protection and a rugged, stylish look that holds up in harsh conditions.

The Result

The finished bull bar looked brand new. The ProTexture Black not only transformed the appearance but also added a layer of serious protection, ready for whatever the road, or the bush, throws at it.
